Church Announcements for 11/19/2017

  • To Reflect: “Bible prophecy helps us to better understand the future and realize the urgent need to spread the Gospel. It motivates us to personal purity and gives us hope in a hopeless age.” ~ Tim LaHaye
  • Have a Blessed Thanksgiving this week!
  • Thank you to all who participated in Operation Christmas Child. There were 50 shoeboxes, plus what people contributed online. Thank you!
  • “Invite a Friend Day” is this coming Sunday, November 26, at 10:30 am. We will be showing Billy Graham’s newest movie, “Flying Blind.” We also have some handouts in the foyer and back hallway for you to take and give to your friends.
  • CEF’s “Christmas Across America” for children ages 5 - 12 will be held Saturday, December 2, from 4 to 5:30 pm, in the church fellowship hall. Learn the true meaning of Christmas! There will be Bible stories, songs, snacks & games. To volunteer see Kerry Chamberlain. FMI visit: ChristmasAcrossAmerica.com.
  • There are many free articles of Christian literature located on the racks in the foyer and the back hallways. We have new “Steps to Peace with God” tracts by Billy Graham and new gratuity Thankyou cards. Please help yourself to any of them you’d like.
  • If you play a musical instrument and would like to share your talents in the celebration of worship for God’s glory during our service on Sunday mornings, please see Richard or Ruth Clockedile.
  • Just a reminder that Kerry Chamberlain leads a women’s “Fitness & Fellowship” class on Tuesday and Friday mornings from 8-9 am. This is open to all women/girls of all ages and fitness levels. It is held in the Fellowship Hall.
  • If we have bad weather on a Sunday morning and there is some question whether we will have service, please check channel 6, 8, or 13 either on TV or on their websites.
  • We have items in the “Lost and Found” area in the back hallway. Please check to see if any of these items belong to you.
  • If you wish to use the church building, please check with Judy Brown about availability of the date. Please do not put it on the calendar yourself.
